Hello Spring

Ozark weather is always a roller coaster of ups and downs, twists and turns. I have heard the saying "if you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes and it will change." I love the weather here, the seasons, the changes...hello Spring! Today it began cloudy and warm windy, then it rained and blew hard wind, and now it is sunny and mild but still windy. Really-all in one day, actually now it seems to be clouding up again...

We have lots of fun stuff going on at the homestead, la casa, aka house of 100 projects. My newest is honeybees, yep, I am going to be a beekeeper. Here's the proof. I have been reading, watching videos and studying up on my impending infestation, I mean pet colony of Italian honeybees. Can't wait! I recommend the following sites for more information on beekeeping in case you are interested.

The platform for the bee hive is pointed to the pond.

The garden has been redone (again) to clear out a war of Bermuda grass that was becoming a losing battle. We picked up some free wood frames from a window shipper and turned them into new raised beds!

Superdude is working on a fantastic treed landscape that we call the tree fortress.

My industrious nephew has commandeered the barn this spring with his project, skeptically dubbed the money trap truck.

Jewelry has been a backburner item for me for the longest time. I want to revamp the etsy store and build a website presence. I did take some time this weekend to straighten up and organize.

Time is all I need, can you spare any please? It is all about choices, yes I know. Finding your priorities and picking out what really matters to you. Working on that, it is my work in progress motto...what are you working on these days?
